For our international Client we are currently looking for a person to fill the position of:

Senior Accountant with English

Tasks:

* Responsible for processing all journal entries, maintaining all supporting schedules and preparing monthly financial statements.
* Maintain A/P and A/R records including processing of all receipts and bills.
* Maintain treasury function including all Polish bank accounts and perform monthly cash and investment account reconciliations.
* Process monthly payroll and maintain necessary payroll records.
* Monitor and process all Polish tax payments and corporate governance statutory filings.
* Responsible for timely and accurate internal and external financial reporting requirements.
* Assist in preparation of annual budgeting process.
* Assist senior management on various projects as needed.

Requirements:

* Four-year degree or equivalent experience required.
* Minimum of five years general accounting experience with some public accounting experience preferred
* Strong English skills – both written and verbal
* Ability to assist in implementation of new accounting and operational processes.
* Strong technical accounting skills.
* Experience in timber and/or investment industries preferred but not required.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong technical accounting skills – AR/AP, internal controls, US GAAP and/or IFRS literate
* Peachtree and/or Microsoft AX software experience preferred but not required
* Budgeting experience
* Work under supervision of the global finance group within a team environment.
* Utilize resourceful thinking, responsible decision making and problem solving skills to complete all accounting accurately and in a timely manner.
* Position performs multiple tasks in environment of changing priorities.
* Travel duties include travel throughout Poland to project sites as warranted
* Strong computer skills
